Advertising Policy

 

• All advertising submitted is subject to the approval of the Publisher. The Publisher reserves

  the right to refuse any advertising content which does not meet the company’s standards of

  acceptance. On acceptance, publication is contingent upon space availability.
• The type style of headings should not be the same or similar to that used in the news and

  editorial columns. Advertisements having the appearance of editorial material must have the

  word “Advertisement” printed above, and the Publisher reserves the right to insert above any

  copy the word “Advertisement.”
• In no event will the Publisher be responsible for errors when correct copy of advertisements

  is not supplied by the Advertiser deadline.
• The liability of the Publisher for failure to publish an advertisement for any reason in the

  issue specified shall be limited to the publishing of the advertisement in a subsequent issue

  at a regular rate.
• Orders are non-cancelable after deadline. The Advertiser and/or Advertising Agency agrees

   to defend and indemnify the Publisher against any and all liability, loss or expense arising

   from claims for libel, unfair competition, unfair trade practice, infringement of trademarks,

   trade names of patents, violations of privacy, and infringement of copyrights and propriety

   rights resulting from the publication of the Advertiser’s advertisements.
• Advertising rates are based on photo-typeset, camera-ready copy/art furnished by the

   Advertiser. All color separations must be supplied to the Advertiser. Advertisers may

   contract with the printer and/or typesetter for assistance in preparing their advertisements.
• Claims for adjustments due to error must be made within seven (7) days of insertion. The

  Publisher is not responsible for any errors or omission made by the printer in preparing,

  modifying, or printing the Advertiser’s advertisements. If a gross error is made in the

  advertisement, and it is the complete responsibility of the Publisher, the Publisher will rerun

  the advertisement once in a regularly scheduled publication at a reduced rate or free to the

  advertiser.
• The Advertiser shall purchase space according to the rates and sizes specified on this Rate

  Sheet currently in effect. Each new Rate Sheet supersedes its predecessor.
• The Publisher reserves the right to change its advertising rates and conditions set forth on

  this Rate Sheet at thirty (30) days written notice. The Advertiser may amend or cancel his

  contract or space reservation order as of the date of change.
• All advertising must be prepaid with the exception of contract advertisers.
• All advertising rates are net. No commission will be paid to agencies by the Publisher.
• If at any time the Publisher determines that the financial responsibility of the Advertiser is

  not satisfactory, the Publisher can require cash payments in advance or satisfactory

  security.
• All advertising which includes prices must be approved by the Publisher.
• Advertisement insertion in a specific issue is not guaranteed if ad copy is not received by ad

  copy due date of that issue.
• In the event a discount is received based on frequency of term or duration and the advertising

  is terminated by Advertiser prior to the stated term or duration, Advertiser is responsible for
